ESP Hopper offers the most difficult application for a level measuring device; currently used level switches for point level indication are not always reliable and can never detect ash build up inside the hopper. As a result of which the underlying problems in an ESP Hopper always goes undetected leading to ESP collapse and plant shut down in a few cases causing huge financial loses.

We are proud to introduce our new ESP ash hopper 3D level measurement system. We have implemented this system at Maharashtra state electricity generation board at Bhusawal Thermal Power Station 2X500 MW .There we have installed 3D level scanner with special mechanical arrangement and made whole of 300mm Dia at the wall of ESP Hopper with piping arrangement with high insulating cable to resist high temp of ash.

Presently system is working with followings satisfactory functions-

• Shows 3D view of ash inside hopper

  Shows online ash temp passing through hopper

  Gives total volume of ash inside the hopper in percentage and with mas

  Gives multiple level measurement

  Shows minimum maximum and average ash level

  Generates historical reports with all above parameters.
